If you already have ideas but would value a professional eye

Interior Design Consultation

An interior design consultation may be the right choice if you do not need a complete design service, but would like professional guidance with a specific question or decision.

The aim is for you to leave the meeting with a clearer direction and practical, actionable recommendations, so you can move forward with confidence.

How I can help

What can we cover during a consultation?

Space planning and furniture layout

Furniture placement, proportions, circulation routes and making better use of the available space.

Review of a floor plan or an existing concept
A professional review of an existing floor plan, furniture layout or your own design ideas.
Coordinating colours and materials
Creating a harmonious combination of flooring, wall colours, wood finishes, textiles and other materials.
Selecting furniture and interior elements
Guidance in choosing specific pieces of furniture, textiles and accessories.
Lighting
Creating lighting that suits the function and atmosphere of each room, including the choice and placement of light fittings.
Storage and space-specific challenges
Exploring storage problems, awkward or underused areas and other interior-design questions unique to your home.

Who is it for?

I primarily recommend a consultation if you would like to design your home yourself, but would value a professional perspective and reassurance when making certain decisions.

It can also be a good choice if many decisions have already been made but you are stuck on a few details, torn between several options, or want to avoid choices that may lead to costly compromises later.

How does it work?

01

Enquiry

Tell me briefly what you would like help with and, if available, send the relevant floor plans, photographs or other materials.
02

Preparation

Before the consultation, I review the materials and questions you have sent so that we can make the best possible use of our time together.
03

Consultation

During the meeting, we work through your questions, discuss possible solutions and identify clear recommendations for your next steps.

Consultation or full interior design service?

During a consultation, we focus on specific questions and decision points. We discuss the options, you receive professional recommendations, and together we establish a direction that allows you to continue independently.

The consultation does not include detailed construction documentation or a complete interior design scheme. If your project is more complex and you would like a designer’s support throughout the entire process, the Interior Design service may be the right choice.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on the project location and the questions involved, the consultation can take place either online or in person. In some cases, floor plans, photographs and other available materials are sufficient, while other questions are better addressed during an on-site meeting. Once you get in touch, we will decide together which format is most appropriate.

The time required depends on the number of questions and the complexity of the project. During your initial enquiry, we briefly discuss what you need help with and agree on the expected duration of the consultation in advance.

If the consultation reveals that your project requires more detailed design work, we can of course continue working together. In that case, we will discuss the next steps and I will recommend the design service that best suits your project.
